With the growing trend of sunglass shoppers all over the world, it’s difficult to imagine having no one buying from your sunglass store. But even if you do have regular flow of customers, of course it’s always “the more, the merrier”; especially now that there are a lot of medium to use, there’s the magazine, TV, internet, or a plain poster. All the same, they’re for attracting more customers and promoting the store.

Spring is here and the sun is showing back up again! If you're like me, then that means you're spending more time outdoors. And it's hard being out in the sunshine without a good pair of sunglasses on.
The day after Thanksgiving is traditionally called Black Friday. It is also one of the busiest shopping days of the entire year. If you have a retail business you know how hectic and crazy it is right from the start. But you also know how profitable that day is. Make sure you are ready for it because it is only a week away.

Profits can be high. This is the exciting part about selling sunglasses with them costing around 1.50 per pair you can make a lot of money. Depending on the location and your competition this will help determine your retail price. Always watch your competition to see what they are selling for. Try to price match them or offer an incentive why to buy from you. Some little extra things you can offer are things like micro fiber bags or cords. These would work well as free items to give out to your customers if they buy from you. The cost on the micro fiber bags and cords is very low so this does not really hurt your profits.

From our experience and also our customers feedback on locations that work the best are as follows:
1. Fairs
2. Festivals
3. Malls
Of course you can sell sunglasses in many other locations than these but these seem to work out very well. For example we have a customer that sets up at major State Fairs and grosses around $25,000 plus in 12 days. Fairs have a large amount of people attending in the 100,000 + range with so many people if you hit sunny weather sunglass sells can be booming.
