Sunglasses - The best way to jazz up your life
Eyes are the most beautiful parts of the entire human body. They are the most important sensory organs that we have. Our eyes are as delicate as they are important for us. They can be hurt by a small speck of dirt or the ultraviolet rays of the sun. It is of utmost necessity that our eyes be protected from all and any sort of problem. The most common and effective way of doing this is wearing sunglasses.
Sunglasses prevent glare so they are used to improve visual clarity. People who have undergone cataract surgery are also advised to wear sunglasses in order to prevent eye damage. Sunglasses are also worn by people who drive bikes or fly airplanes because the sunglasses ensure that wind will not affect their eyes and will not lead to any accident. Sunglasses are also used by people involved in water sports. Most of the people also wear sunglasses because sunglasses add oomph to the personality of the wearer.
There are 3 established standards for sunglasses in different parts of the world. These standards are used to measure the degree of protection offered by sunglasses from harmful UV rays. Those standards are:
EN 1836:2005 is the standard in Europe.
AS 1067 is the standard in Australia.
ANSI Z80.3-1972 is the standard in the United States.
