Sunglasses - Protect your Eyes from Invisible Threats

The scientific evidence has proved that long-term exposure to invisible ultraviolet radiation can certainly damage your eyes and finally lead to complete vision loss. And this can happen with anyone rather everyone including adults and children, we all are at risk.

Just like your skin, your eyes also never forget UV exposure. Studies have shown that over exposure to sun can increase the risk of developing cataracts and age-related macular degeneration. Both of these causes lead to vision loss among older adults. Over UV exposure, wind, and dust can even cause pterygia, benign growths on the eye's surface. The increased exposure to bright sunlight and the greater the chance of developing these eye conditions.
In addition to the damage caused by a lifetime of exposure to bright sun, you are ought to protect your eyes from acute damage caused by single outings on very bright and sunny days. Extreme exposure to ultraviolet light reflected off sand, snow, or even pavement can damage the cornea of the eye and the eye's surface. Only one thing can protect you from all and that is sunglasses. Similar to sunburn on your skin, corneal ultraviolet injuries are painful, but they usually heal quickly.
